Default Nightfall /dancenew, quite a letdown

Reading the update on the dev forum, was really expecting something nice.

All the /dancenew for male, female, paragon and ranger are very very nearly identical.

The dance is nice.... for one character. But all 4 having essentially the same dance with a different start and a few small differences in between? Waste of CE money.

Reminder for next time, if you don't really care about the physical content of the CE, don't buy it until you see what it really has to offer.

This is a bad news for CE buyers....once again the loyal supporting fans/players gets screwed.

It's more like /electricute more than /dancenew

It really is a letdown. I'm extremely happy with the physical contents of the CE, to be fair, but the in-game bonus (other than the pet) was what I was most hoping for to be great. Kind of a shame there.

Have they changed the paragon dance from the preview event then? They were a male Michael Jackson and a Josephine Baker style dance for the female.

Haven't got mine yet, so haven't seen the new dances.

Atleast put some cool aura on the whole body while were dancing. Like a cool blueish glowing shadow effect for Dervish and golden for Paragon.

It could of been worse but I agree that the dev forums got me hyped up for somthing brand new and really cool but it was just kind of like the Varesh mini pet. Meh.

So meaning to say that the ingame content of the CE from Factions was better then Nightfall then? GG.

BTW "Making of Nightfall DvD" isnt that great when it becomes the "Making of this crap DvD" reminder. At least it puts a name and face to those responsible. Does the person who made the patch last night's face and name appear on the DvD anyone?

/Looks up the: "NF launch, Meet the Developers in DC" thread.

the new dances are really really disappointing. I mean, it's a signature dance, which shall stands out among others. Like the factions newdance, even the divine aura, people can see the difference in a glance. What about now? People have to gaze at you for a while, and only the ones who already owns CE can tell that it's a CE dance. Kinda of lame.

Well, I'm going to cancel my CE. Not worth the extra money.

On the plus side, Divine Aura did get implemented on the Nightfall characters.

Quite a let down? This is hell of a let down!

At first I thought I was doing the normal dances, but then when I tried /dance I noticed they were different. But wow, just wow. They're pretty aweful.

Shame.

I agree, very much a letdown. I was very excited to see what the surprise would be, and my face went when I saw that it's basically their regular dance, varied a bit.

Thanks for the heads up. Was planning on getting two CE's, now two SE's. It's all about the flare, and it seems they came up too short on this one.

Ah ok.. yeh that is pretty sucky then.

Maybe a bug? After all a lot of my ele's skills are still getting bugged on casting since the preview event - sounds not activating, missing particle fx (not always repeatable).

Hell of a let down here, Always had the regular editions, but scraped the cash together for the CE this time round, and we end up with a reglaur dance that resembles a bad electrocution. Nice work Anet, wont be wasting my cash again

It took me a while to notice it but you do get a siognature dance. I've only made a male paragon so far and it works liek this.
/dance you do the normal dance
/dancenew you do a different dance wiht different moves
You can try it for yourself by holding z and watching, but yea no cool effects .
